Ok I’m going to make a fool out of myself right here right now.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Jojo Low has a confession to make.
Sell a case a day, save a life a day.
I’ve been suckered into a realm called insurance. Ok It was a 50/50 thing since I willingly went for classes and exams and there’s no turning back now… well not for now. Listening to these … well versed, rich and successful people I call seniors/bosses… I still wonder how they can reach SIX (6) figure salaries. It’s crazy… but it’s achievable. So yeah… I’m an insurance agent.
Before you run away, just keep in mind that my sales figure still stands at ZERO (0) as of today simply because I just don’t see a point in making appointments and brainwashing people. Instead, I shall try communicating through my blog.
WTF is life insurance?
Life insurance is an assurance in the form of a specified sum to the insured/beneficiaries upon the diagnosis of a critical illness or death of the insured.
How does it work?
Step 1: You choose a plan (10k – 1Million) based on what you can afford or what you think is necessary to leave behind
Step 2: You fork out a certain amount (term = premium, calculated based on the plan as well as your age and health risk)
Step 3: Just keep the plan alive by paying premiums (ranging from RM50 onwards) monthly for as long as the term requires (20, 25, 30 years)
Step 4: Supplement the life insurance with other investments to generate protection, such as a health policy, personal accident policy, and endowment or retirement fund.
I’m open for discussion, but please do not be obliged to buy from me. I’m merely educating, creating a discussion platform for what we see as an essential need for each and every individual. I can bet my two shoes that you definitely know someone who sells insurance. It is a competitive market and a tough industry but I do know of people who are yet to be insured.
As I begin this journey into a new realm, I hope I’m not shut off completely or that you would stop reading my blog. Thanks beforehand to all who support me =) Love you lots!
(Truth is, I’ve been engrossed in 3 things – Work, Sean & Insurance in that order so there are only 3 things I can think of blogging about. Spare me!)
